The highly anticipated Anhui section of the Shaanbei-Anhui ±800 kV UHVDC project was fully completed on Nov 18, according to State Grid Anhui Electric Power Company. Upon operation, the section is expected to deliver over 36 TWh of electricity to Anhui, more than half of which is generated from renewable energy sources, said the company.
