The Baltic dry bulk freight index on Nov 17 rose to a new high since Sep 29. The BDI index gained 1.32% from the previous session to 2,153 points. The Capesize freight index, tracking large ships carrying cargoes like iron ore and coal, increased 2.34% to 3,328 points, while the Panamax index descended 0.53% to 1,887 points. The Supramax index grew 1.07% to 1,423 points.
