Shanghai International Energy Exchange data showed crude oil futures for the most-traded August 2026 contract closed at 451.30 yuan/barrel on July 1, down 10.80 yuan, or 2.34%. Total turnover for all contracts reached 95,887 lots, with open interest rising 4,731 lots to 104,794 lots, while the front-month contract saw 61,455 lots traded and open interest up 1,172 lots at 46,359 lots.
