China's National Energy Administration official Wan Jinsong attended the 11th BRICS energy ministers meeting in Gurugram, India on Jun 25, saying the country has built the world's largest clean energy system and accelerated the development of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system, contributing key experience to global energy transition. China will take over the BRICS presidency in 2027 and will continue to advocate genuine multilateralism, uphold the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, and consensus-based decision-making, Wan said. The meeting adopted outcome documents including a joint communique.
