We cordially invite you to participate in the 11th Global Coal Resource and Market Summit to be held in Guangzhou city, southeastern China's Guangdong province over September 21-22, 2022.
The global coal market is undergoing great changes and unprecedented uncertainties. Supply shortfall from major exporters amid geopolitical turmoil and sanctions after the Russia-Ukraine conflict has pushed coal prices to record highs and may remain high in the years ahead. This has and will continue to challenge climate goals of major economies.
The Chinese government has been preemptive, primarily taking lesson from last year's supply crunch, taking a slew of measures to boost mining capacity and output from coal mines while stabilizing prices within a reasonable range. This helped ensure coal supplies to power plants for stable electricity supply while imports from other countries are on the decrease.
Looking ahead, how can coal supply reconcile with demand in a changing global trade dynamic? How can coal upstream and downstream companies actively respond to new challenges? How should they deploy business in the face of complex development environment? A host of issues concerning development of the coal upstream and downstream enterprises require expert judgment through in-depth discussions.
This Summit will invite coal industry experts and delegates from thermal coal and coking coal upstream and downstream enterprises, including domestic and international coal producers, power plants, coking plants, steel mills, chemical plants, cement plants, coal trading companies, port and logistics enterprises, to discuss and share insights on development of the coal industrial chain from the perspectives of macro economy, production area situation, end user demand, transport status quo, supply-demand balance, and price trend.
