China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. generated 59.59 TWh of electricity from its nuclear units during January-April 2023, rising 0.86% year on year.
As of April 30, the cumulative power sent to the grid reached 55.79 TWh, a year-on-year increase of 0.95%. Both electricity generation and grid-connected power are in line with the company's annual plan.
By the end of April, the company had 25 operating nuclear units with a total installed capacity of 23.75 GW. Additionally, there were 9 units under construction with a combined capacity of 10.13 GW, and 2 units awaiting approval, with a capacity of 2.42 GW.
The company's installed new energy power operating capacity totaled 13.44 GW, including 4.61 GW of wind power and 8.84 of GW solar power capacity.
The company's cumulative renewable energy generation reached 6.61 TWh, a remarkable year-on-year increase of 67.58%.
