Mongolian exported 917,100 tonnes of coal from November 11 to November 17, surging 88% year on year, according to data from the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry.
This brought the accumulative exports since the start of the year to 25.30 million tonnes, soaring 71.5% from the same period in 2021.
Mongolia's aggregated copper concentrate exports totaled 1.24 million tonnes, a year-on-year growth of 1.6%, but Iron ore exports fell 39% year on year to 4.18 million tonnes.
So far, 93.1% of the planned exports of mineral products have been completed, the ministry said.
Specifically, 140.5% of coal, 102.3% of copper concentrate and 82.6% of iron ore export target had been completed, data showed.
