Coal production of Mongolia came in at 2.56 million tonnes in July, surging 136.41% year on year and 8.89% month on month, showed data from the National Statistical Office of Mongolia.
In January-July, Mongolia's total coal output was 12.79 million tonnes, diving 35.05% on the year.
Mongolia's iron ore production was 625,300 tonnes in July, down 44.16% on the year and 35.21% on the month.
Iron sand output was 576,800 tonnes in July, down 30.06% year on year and 17.36% from June, while iron concentrate production was 48,500 tonnes, slumping 83.56% from a year ago and 81.84% month on month.
Total production of iron ore in Mongolia totaled 6.02 million tonnes during the first seven months in 2022, down 18.31% year on year.
Iron sand output was 4.74 million tonnes over January-July, down 6.66% year on year, and iron concentrate production was 1.28 million tonnes, down 44.16%.
