China Coal Energy Co., Ltd, the listed arm of China National Coal Group, saw its polyolefin sales fall 0.8% year on year to 130,000 tonnes in April, the company said in a report on May 18.
The April figure was 4% higher than that in March.
Polyethylene sales were 72,000 tonnes, a year-on-year rise of 10.8% and a month-on-month rise of 16.1%. Sale of polypropylene decreased 8.1% from a year ago but increased 17.2% from March to 6,000 tonnes.
The company produced 174,000 tonnes of urea, up 4.8% year on year but down 1.1% month on month, and urea sales fell 7.9% on the year but grew 21.3% from March to 211,000 tonnes.
