Shanxi, a major coal production hub in North China, has completed the signing of 1.09 billion tonnes of mid- and long-term coal supply contracts for 2022, a further increase of 105 million tonnes from the preceding year. Supply agreements on the road-delivered coal have reached 180 million tonnes so far, surging 77.51 million tonnes year on year, according to China Daily.
There were a total of 338 enterprises from coal, power, steel, construction material and chemical sectors conducting the signing on the e-commerce platform of China Taiyuan Coal Trading Center during the 2022 Shanxi Coal Trading Conference held on December 9.
