China exported 10.14 million tonnes of finished steel during January to February, a year-on-year rise of 29.9%, showed latest data from General Administration of Customs (GAC) on March 7.
Exports value during the same period surged 45% year on year to $8.85 billion, and the average exporting price of steel product was calculated at $872.4/t.
In 2020, China exported a total of 53.67 million tonnes of steel products, falling 16.5% on the year, and earned $45.47 billion, falling 15.4% year on year. The exporting price was averaged at $847.2 per tonne.
