Linfen city in northern China's Shanxi province produced 67.23 million tonnes of raw coal in 2020, presenting a year-on-year rise of 5.2%, showed data from Shanxi Bureau of Statistics.
In 2020, the city's production of washed coal jumped 23.7% year on year to 34.44 million tonnes.
The city produced 18.19 million tonnes of coke in the year 2020, climbing 7.8% year on year, thanks to the implementation of preferential policies and the operation of phase II project of Shanxi Liheng Coking Co., Ltd.
Linfen's electricity generation dipped 0.6% from 2019 to 24.44 TWh in 2020, and the reduction fell 8.4 percentage points from the first half of 2020.
