Anhui Hengyuan Coal & Electric 2020 coal sales drop 12.48%

Anhui Hengyuan Coal & Electric Co., Ltd sold 7.33 million tonnes of commercial coal in 2020, falling 12.48% compared with a year ago, the company said in its annual financial report on January 15.


Commercial coal production totaled 7.17 million tonnes in 2020, falling 17.33% year on year, according to the report.


The company's sales revenue from its coal business declined 18.96% year on year to 4.50 billion yuan ($693.6 million) last year and costs dropped 8.01% to 2.79 billion yuan. The gross profit came in at 1.707 billion yuan, down 32.16% on the year, the company said.
