Russia's coking coal exports to China in November surged 82.59% from a month earlier, data from Federal Customs Service of Russia showed.
In November, Russia exported 703,900 tonnes of the steelmaking material to China, up 2.34% from a year earlier, data showed. Exports to China accounted for 25.2% of Russia's total export of the material.
Russia's coking coal exports to South Korea totaled 506,400 tonnes, jumping 57.86% year on year and 78.89% month on month, customs data showed.
Exports to Japan came in at 351,500 tonnes, down 14.78% year on year but rising 39.24% month on month.
In January-November, Russia's coking coal exports totaled 22.72 million tonnes, up 1.07% year on year.
