Jilin province produced 848,100 tonnes of raw coal in October, sliding 6.84% year on year, data from Jilin Energy Bureau showed on December 2.
In January-October, Jilin's raw coal output totaled 8.15 million tonnes, falling 17.93% on the year.
The province generated 8.07 TWh of electricity in October, rising 12.71% year on year. January-October power generation grew by 6.55% to 80.71 TWh.
The province's electricity consumption in October rose by 6.32% on the year to 6.75 TWh, sending total power usage to 64.89 TWh in first ten months, up 2.96% from the year prior.
