Brisbane port in Queensland State of Australia presented a multi-year low of 221,800 tonnes in coal exports in June since 2017 at least, showed data from the PBPL.
The volume slumped 51.48% from 457,000 tonnes a year earlier and dropped 3.77% from 230,500 tonnes in May 2020.
In the first half of this year, the port's coal exports decreased by 917,300 tonnes or 30.15% year on year to 2.12 million tonnes.
In the full-year of 2019, Brisbane port exported a total 6.36 million tonnes of coal to other countries, a decline of 10.38% compared with the year prior.
