Henan-based Pingdingshan Tian'an Coal Mining Co., Ltd, a listed subsidiary of state-owned China Pingmei Shenma Group, churned out 15.27 million tonnes of raw coal in the first half of this year, growing 6.48% year on year, said the firm in a statement late July 30.
The producer, however, saw a 4.31% yearly decline in commercial coal sales to 15.76 million tonnes during the period, with sales of self-produced commercial coal down 2.04% to 14.09 million tonnes.
The company's sales revenue came in at 10.87 billion yuan over January-June, falling by 2.01% year on year; sales gross profit increased by 19.98% to 2.76 billion yuan.
It is mainly engaged in coal mining, washing, processing and sales, covering products like 1/3 coking coal, primary coking coal and fat coal.
Its raw coal output in 2019 decreased by 2.48 million tonnes year on year to 28.32 million tonnes, while washed coal output increased 1.92 million tonnes to 10.72 million tonnes.
