Shaanxi's Yulin H1 raw coal output up 24% YoY

Raw coal production of Yulin city, Shaanxi province in the first half of 2020 picked up 24% year on year to 236 million tonnes, official data showed.


To guarantee the stable and safe operation of the coal industry, Yulin has launched several concentrated safety rectifications and special inspections on coal mines in the city. The management systems for safe production at coal mines have been further improved.


Located in the northernmost part of Shaanxi province, Yulin has predicted coal reserves of 280 billion tonnes, and its Shenfu coal field is one of the seven largest coal fields in the world.


Yulin city strives to produce more than 480 million tonnes of coal in 2020, focusing on capacity expansion approval of coal mines and the commissioning of newly-built mines.
