Four people were killed and one injured in the collapse of a coal mine in southeastern China's Sichuan province, media reported.
Seven people who went underground to reinforce working face of a coal mine in Gulin County of Luzhou city on October 26 were trapped when the roof collapsed. By 3 o'clock in the morning of October 28, the last man trapped underground was found but dead after field first aid.
The injured has been sent to the hospital and been judged out of danger.
It's learned that the coal mine, which belongs to Sichuan Guxu Coal Development Co, was fined by about 1 million yuan for wrongdoing three months ahead.
