China produced a total 210.03 million tonnes of cement in July, a rise of 7.5% compared with a year earlier and up 0.1% from June, showed data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on August 14.
In the first seven months, cement output amounted to 1.26 billion tonnes, 7.2% higher than the year-ago level, data showed.
The average output was calculated at 6.78 million tonnes last month, increasing 7.1% year on year but down 3.1% from June.
In July, plate glass production totaled 7,801 weight cases, up by 5.5% on the year yet down 5% from June. The volume in January-July climbed 7% to 54,314 weight cases.
The daily output dropped 8.1% on the month to 2.52 million weight cases in July.
