Output of raw coal with safety fee extracted stood at 4.78 million tonnes in southwestern China's Sichuan province in the first two months of 2018, up by 1.43% year on year, showed data from Sichuan Provincial Administration of Work Safety on March 13.
Of that, coal production of key state-owned mines stood at 2.33 million tonnes; that of local state-owned mines and township mines at 204,500 tonnes and 2.25 million tonnes.
During the same period, total safety fees extracted in Sichuan stood at 120.48 million yuan ($18.54 million), down by 0.98% from the preceding year.
