Shanxi advanced coal capacity to take half of total by end-2018

Shanxi, a top coal province in North China, expected its advanced coal production capacity to take as high as 50% of total capacity by the end of 2018, said the provincial government in a statement on its website.


The province will step up effort to boost its advanced coal production capacity this year and further streamline its pillar coal industry, the statement said.


Shanxi will build standardized safe and efficient coal mines, encourage enterprises to enhance technology and facilities and strengthen management of coal mine projects, it said.
