Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd of State Grid sold 87.7 TWh of electricity in 2017, climbing 19.31% from a year earlier, said the company on January 9.
The company transmitted 43.4 TWh of electricity to other regions last year, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%, it said.
It realized an increment of 600 GWh of electricity in 2017 through electric energy replacement campaign, and pushed forward 16 coal-fired captive power plants to replace coal with new energy in power generation.
