China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. planned to launch a new nuclear power company in Hebei province with Shenhua Group and other three energy corporations, said the company in its recent announcement.
CNNP, together with Shenhua Group, Huadian Fuxin Energy Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Jointo Energy Investment Co Ltd Hebei, is set to jointly inject 1 billion yuan ($152.81 million) to set up the new company, which is called CNNP Hebei Nuclear Power Company in interim.
Of the total investment, CNNP took out 350 million yuan, accounting for 35%; Shenhua, Huadian Fuxin took proportion of 30% and 15%; the rest of 20% is halved by Zhejiang Zheneng and Jointo Energy Investment.
The four energy giants also found a traveling wave reactor technology company in Tianjin.
