Shandong Jan raw coal output slumps 30.2pct YoY

Shandong province in eastern China produced 9.7 million tonnes of raw coal in January, slumping 30.17% year on year and down 5.98% from last December, showed the latest data from the Shandong Administration of Coal Mine Safety.


Last year, the province produced 128.61 million tonnes of raw coal, falling 11.31% from 2015, due to the government-led capacity cut campaign.
