China National Nuclear Power 2016 power generation up 17pct Nuclear 2017-01-13 08:44:00

China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. saw its power generation expand 17.18% from a year earlier to 87.07 TWh in 2016, the company said in a statement.

The operation of some new generating units, including Fuqing Nuclear Power No. 3 Unit and Hainan Nuclear Power No. 2 Unit, partly contributed to the year-on-year increase, the statement said.

China National Nuclear Power is owned by China National Nuclear Corporation, one of China's top three nuclear power companies.
